These Shark-Fin shears have saved my hand. I've been cutting hair for thirty years and in the past eight I've experienced chronic pain in my cutting hand. Within the first 2 - 3 weeks of using the Shark-Fin shears, my pain melted away. Now I feel I can work indefinitely. It's been nearly 2 years since I purchased my first 5.5" pair and still they don't need a major sharpening. Not wanting to be without them I've purchased a second pair, 6 1/4".
